It now houses an interesting wool-spinning mill and factory shop that
utilises antique machinery. Contract
Spinning of pure wool yarn is undertaken for commercial quantities in
excess of 50kg greasy.
Meskills
Woolworks is located in a Georgian brick and bluestone building
which was erected in 1867 as the Kyneton Butter Factor.
Along
with the complete range of pure wool yarns, tops and fleece, the Meskills
Woolworks shops stock an extensive range of hand knitted sweaters, scarves,
beanies, mohair rugs and craft supplies.
